MyFax, recently voted the best Internet fax service by the readers of tech and lifestyle blogs Gizmodo and Lifehacker is proud to introduce the following new features and enhancements based on requests from customers.
To see all the features available as part of your MyFax service, please login to MyFaxCentral and visit My Preferences >> Send Preferences and My Preferences >> Receive Preferences. Alternatively, run the MyFax Setup Wizard at My Preferences >> Setup Wizard to quickly take advantage of many features.

MyFax App for iPhone®
|
Send and Receive Faxes with your iPhone®!
Enter the recipient's name and fax number, or look it up in your Contact Book. Use your default cover page, or select a new cover page on the fly. Type fax pages right on your iPhone, or take a picture of a page using your iPhone's camera. You can also choose photos from the Photo Album. Send up to 8 pages in a single fax, plus the cover page.
View the status of your sent faxes (Pending, Successful, or Failed), including those sent by email or from the MyFax online website. Faxes sent from the iPhone are highlighted with a colored icon.
Receive faxes with your MyFax account without having to log in to the website or dig through your emails. List your faxes, and see which ones are new. View your faxes, and get Fax Details like sender CSID, date and time received, and number of pages!

MyFax App for BlackBerry®
|
The MyFax App for BlackBerry lets you access and view important faxes from anywhere, extending the reach of your office to help you run your business more efficiently.
The MyFax App lists your faxes and identifies which are new. If it's details you want, it's details you'll get, as the MyFax App includes the date and time the fax was received, along with the number of pages in the fax, and CSID (Caller Sender Identification).

Salesforce CRM Integration

MyFax for AppExchange allows users to send, receive and manage faxes securely from Salesforce CRM.
Free and available to all MyFax customers, MyFax for AppExchange allows you to access important documents over the web from anywhere, even by smart phone, and integrate those documents into Salesforce CRM.
Faxes can be archived into the contact activity history to give you an integrated view of all communications with any Salesforce user in your organization. In addition, MyFax for AppExchange leverages Salesforce CRM’s mass fax and email merge functionality so you can conduct email-to-fax and fax-to-email communications with your contacts.

64-bit version of MyFax Print-to-Fax Assistant

One of our most popular features, the MyFax Print-to-Fax Assistant, now supports the 64-bit version of Windows® Vista and Windows® 7 in addition to the 32-bit versions. The MyFax Print-to-Fax Assistant allows MyFax customers to easily send faxes from any Windows-based application that supports standardized printer drivers.
The Print-to-Fax Assistant features a user friendly interface that also allows faxes to be sent to multiple recipients; incorporates Outlook® contact lists and billing codes. Best of all it's FREE to MyFax customers and available in your MyFaxCentral account under My Preferences >> Send Preferences.

Other notable enhancements

- MyFaxCentral Setup Wizard – if you haven’t tried it yet, take the MyFaxCentral Setup Wizard for a spin. In just a few easy steps you’ll unlock the full potential of MyFax, like adding a fax header, a default country code, archive settings for sent and received emails, delivery preferences, along with designating up to five additional ‘from’ and ‘to’ email addresses. The MyFaxCentral Setup Wizard can be found in your MyFaxCentral account under My Preferences >> Setup Wizard.
- Outbound Caller ID – add your number to outgoing faxes to help recipients identify the sender. Set your Caller ID in your MyFaxCentral account under My Preferences >> Send Preferences.
