1. What do I need to use MyFax? |
You just need Internet access, an email account, and a MyFax® account. You do not need any new hardware and you do not need to install any fax software. |
2. How do I send a fax? |
 To send a fax from your email, just type the recipient's fax number and attach your document to fax. To send a fax from the web, log into MyFaxCentral.com.

3. How do I receive a fax? |
 Faxes sent to you arrive in your email inbox. Just check your email! You may also log into MyFaxCentral.com to pick up your received faxes.

4. What is MyFaxCentral? |
MyFaxCentral.com is a private and secure website where MyFax customers can login to send and receive faxes, update their account information, review monthly bills, view fax page usage, and more. |
5. Can I send multiple documents in one fax? |
Yes, you can send up to eight documents in one fax as attachments. MyFax supports 178 different file formats, including PDF, Microsoft Word and Excel. |
6. Is the MyFax service secure? |
Yes, your sent and received faxes are completely private. We use a secure server with SSL encryption and there is no human interaction with your fax. |
7. Is my MyFax number available all the time? |
Your MyFax number is an "always on, never busy" number. Your computer does not need to be turned on to receive faxes. Faxes are stored in your email inbox and online. |
8. Can I distribute my faxes? |
You can send from and receive your faxes in up to 5 designated email accounts. You can send your faxes to a maximum of 9 destinations by email or via the web to 50 destinations at one time. |
9. Can I keep my current fax number? |
Yes. Call-forward your existing fax number(s) to your new MyFax number or in certain circumstances, you can have your existing fax number ported to MyFax. Please contact Sales for more information. |

10. Do I need to make a long-term commitment? |
No. With MyFax, there are no long-term contracts to sign and no minimum registration period. Choose the convenient pay-as-you-go, monthly plan or take advantage of our discounted annual plan. See the Terms & Conditions and Pricing pages. |
11. Can I access my account information online? |
Yes. Use the Login button on the MyFax site to access your account via MyFaxCentral. Track your fax usage by accessing online history and billing reports. Verify the delivery status of your faxes by checking email confirmation notices. |
12. Does MyFax provide customer support? |
Yes. MyFax Customer Support Representatives can be reached for free 24/7. |

13. What information will appear on my credit card statement? |
Credit Card charges will be identified as "Protus / MyFax". Protus® is the parent company of MyFax. |
